If you visit St Anne’s Church look out for the pipe organ, it was designed by John Gray and Frederick Davison. They were awarded 1st place in the Great Exhibition in 1851 for the construction and manufacture of the organ. The church occasionally holds classical concerts for the orchestra Docklands Sinfonia. It is definitely worth the trip.
Limehouse offers plenty of shops for those who love to indulge. Jubilee Place Mall is an underground shopping mall located on the south side of Canary Warf. It is home to a range of fashion retailers, cafes and restaurants. Also in Limehouse, you can find Billingsgate Market, the UK’s largest inland fish market. The ground floor has a total of 98 stands, 30 shops and two cafes. It offers a fantastic range of colourful and good quality fresh and frozen fish for those who buy in bulk.
