Important information and who we are

Flying Butler Apartments Ltd (FBAL) provides serviced apartments for corporate/leisure stay clients across London. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of data protection for our clients. We’ll usually be the data controller when it comes to any data provided to us.

This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and when you otherwise provide your data to us (for example, by purchasing a product or service from us) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.  This privacy notice was drafted with brevity and clarity in mind. It does not provide exhaustive detail of all aspects of our collection and use of personal information. Information we hold about you

If you contact us through this site, we will ask you to provide us with some specific information:

  • Basic personal information, such as name and title;

  • Personal contact details, such as home address, work address project address, telephone number (home and mobile) and email address;

  • Stay details, the details in relation to the accommodation we have booked for you, or you have enquired about but not booked. Including dates of stay, cost of stay and location of stay.

 From time to time, we will ask you to provide additional information, such as your opinion of our products and services, or for your opinion on matters related to our work more generally.

We also use third party accounting software, CRM software and providers of online marketing and surveys.  Under their contracts with us, they can only use your information according to our instructions.

We will also share your information if the law or any statutory body requires us to do so.

 

Retaining your personal information

We hold your personal information relating to a booking or enquiry, communication we have with you or complaints we have made for 7 years from completion or the relevant communication for legal reasons.  Where we have provided you with a warranty or entered, we will hold that information for the warranty period and for 7 years thereafter.

If you comment on an article or other information on our website, the information you provide will be retained for the life of the article.

It is sometimes necessary for us to keep information for longer, if we are required by law to do so, if we have a legitimate business reason for doing so and to make sure that we don’t contact you if you have asked us not to.

 

Keeping your personal information secure

We use appropriate technical and security measures to keep your personal information is protected against unauthorised access, use, alteration or any loss.  We do not transfer your personal information outside the EEA, but the use of our accounting or other software, your personal information may be held on servers outside the EEA.
