Senior Guest Service Executive | Full Time | Permanent

Flying Butler Apartment Ltd is regarded as a leading provider of serviced short-term apartments for business travellers, leisure travellers and all other types of stays.

Considering Flying Butler’s expansion plans throughout the country, there will be opportunities for extraordinary personal and professional growth for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who breathes guest/customer service and is energized by the opportunity to maximize the potential of a team of guest services advisors by assisting in leading the team to provide the most memorable experience for our guest. Will be working in alignment with the guest services manager to achieve team goal and objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader that can inspire and motivate a team to deliver an amazing Flying Butler guest experience whilst supporting the team. Our locations are distributed across London and Southeast.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing direct reports; hospitality or property management experience 
  • 5+ years in customer services
  • Confident and Exclusive personality
  • Proven ability to lead, prioritize and deliver with a focus on driving team performance through coaching, training and accountability
  • Strong affinity to people management and able to effectively lead a team by example, inspiring people to be engaged and proactive
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill, able to define clear action steps for their team members and effectively delegate
  • Ability to take the initiative and problem solve independently
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to adapt and flex to shifting priorities
  • Embraces technology for team management and collaboration and motivated to adopt new and emerging technologies
  • Strong ability to establish positive relationships with others
  • Thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing, always challenging environment
  • Able to manage team rota and task efficiently
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and outlook
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights and weekends as business requires
  • Ability to deal with difficult issues and providing support to the team.

Full Time - Permanent

Salary:
£24,000.00 - £27,000.00 per annum

598-608 Chiswick High Rd

Responsibilities:
  • Support guest services advisors by providing training, coaching, and providing feedback with an eye towards execution
  • Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day-to-day tasking to ensure world-class guest experience and team accountability
  • Championing the highest level of customer care and service and deliver wow experiences with special attention to guest experience from first point of contact
  • Communicate cross-functionally clearly and with compassion
  • Own and update standard operating procedures to support team execution
  • Assist in continuous improvement within the team
  • Being fully comprehensive in all operational areas of the guest service team
  • Being proactive to address guest complaints and taking appropriate guest recovery action
  • Ensuring team members are performing specific tasks of the department SOPs
  • Controlling all operating costs within the standards set under the direction of the guest services manager
  • Promoting upselling of additional services positively within the guest services department and to cross sell.
  • Assisting the Guest Services Manager in quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional way to ensure consistent delivery of service standards.
  • Assisting the Guest Services Manager in recruitment of staff and planning of the labour resource
