Join our friendly, dedicated and hardworking Reservations Team!
Managing the Reservations Team in our London offices, you will be responsible for driving the sales culture and high service standards that our guests expect.
You will be a proactive and commercial thinker, able to challenge the norms and drive revenue.
The Reservations Team is key to ensuring no booking is overlooked or unanswered and opportunities are converted. You will play a key role in helping to drive the commercial success of the company in this way.
Responsibilities:
Key Tasks
- To manage the reservations team (4 people), their workload, tasks, rota and holidays
- To work with the Revenue and Sales teams, to ensure business needs and prioritised in a timely manner
- To be the primary contact for agents and clients to escalate areas of concern and minimise and potential risks to business.
- To develop a close working relationships with all departments and colleagues
- To think outside the box seeking out new opportunities and improved ways of working to benefit customers and the operational efficiency of the department
- To manage escalations, relocations, and group enquiries
Essential Experience
- Previous experience managing a busy reservations/sales environment
- Commercial experience in quoting and delivering agreed budget
- Proven track record in driving a sales culture within a sales/contact centre environment
- Excellent communication skill - verbal, written and oral
- Proficient use of Microsoft office
Desirable Experience
- Ideally experienced in the Serviced Apartment industry
- Management experience from within the travel sector ideally gained within hotels or hospitality venues.
Hours
Mon to Fri 8:45am to 6pm with one weekend a month on call
